Our Materials

Finishes Avaible

  • Shotblast: It creates a slip-resistant surface by blasting the stone with high-pressure steel shots or abrasives. This process removes a thin layer of the stone, resulting in a matte, lightly roughened texture that enhances both the natural color and durability of basalt stone.

  • Honed: It is a smooth, matte surface achieved by grinding the stone to a flat, even texture without the reflective shine of a polished finish. This process enhances the natural dark tones of basalt stone while providing a sleek, understated appearance.

  • Mirror Polish: It is a highly reflective, glossy surface achieved through extensive polishing using fine abrasives. This finish enhances the natural richness and deep, dark tones of basalt stone, creating a luxurious and elegant appearance.

  • Brushed: It is created by treating the basalt stone’s surface with wire brushes, resulting in a soft, textured appearance that highlights its natural beauty. This finish gives the stone a slightly worn, antique look, while maintaining a smooth yet tactile surface.

  • Tumbled: It is achieved by gently tumbling the basalt stone in a drum with abrasives, resulting in a weathered, aged appearance with softened edges and a slightly textured surface. This process gives the stone a natural, rustic look, with an invitingly smooth yet subtly uneven finish that enhances its character.

  • Natural: In this basalt stone’s original texture and appearance is preserved, offering an untreated, raw surface that showcases its natural beauty. This finish emphasizes the stone’s organic qualities, such as subtle variations in color and texture, giving it a rugged, authentic look.

  • Rockface: It is a rough, textured surface created by chiselling the basalt stone’s face to give it a rugged, natural look, resembling freshly broken rock. This finish showcases the raw beauty of basalt, with its uneven surface and bold texture highlighting the stone’s natural strength and character.
